HBO Max describes the forthcoming series as a “biting, satirical look at the life of Prince George of Cambridge, the youngest heir to the British throne, as he navigates the trials and tribulations of being a royal child.” It’s the second project Janetti has set up at HBO Max, following Brad and Gary Go To…, a travel doc with Janetti’s husband, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski. Janetti will voice Prince George in the show, with Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Tom Hollander as both Prince Philip and Prince Charles, Alan Cumming as George’s butler, Owen, Frances de la Tour as Queen Elizabeth, and Iwan Rheon as Prince William. HBO Max announced Tuesday that The Prince, an animated comedy written and executive produced by Janetti, has been given a greenlight by the streaming service. Gary Janetti, the Family Guy writer and producer who turned his Instagram account into a catalog of Prince George memes, is now transforming that Instagram account into a television series.
